The premise behind the Master Cleanse diet is to go through a period of 10 days drinking a special lemonade only and doing without solid foods. This is not the common lemonade that we see children sell, it’s a special mixture of lemon juice, maple syrup and a bit of cayenne pepper.
Because of the use of lemon though, it has been popularly known as the Lemonade Diet.
You will have to rely on the lemonade for nourishment since you will not be able to take in any solid food. But before you formally get into the diet, you will have to go through an ease in period first.
Usually this includes you having to slowly stop taking in solid foods from your diet and start including juice and other foods rich in fiber like fruits and vegetables.
After you have eased in, you may now go through with the diet proper. You will have to create your lemonade by mixing in 14 tbsp of lemon juice, 14 tbsp of maple syrup and tsp of cayenne pepper in 2 liters of filtered or distilled water.
You will need to consume all of that throughout the entire day. You will still be able to get your caloric needs from the maple syrup.
You will have to accompany that diet by taking in tea laxatives and going through a salt water flush. To create your salt water mixture mix in a tsp of organic sea salt with a liter of water.
Chug all of that and wait until you start wanting to go the bathroom. Because your body will want to expel all that salt, you will begin excreting and that will include all the toxins that have kept inside your body. Do this for the entire period of 10 days and you will begin seeing wonderful results.
